Touring matters – here’s why

TwitterPinterestFacebook

Sometimes seeing is believing.

Moving is a major decision and before you commit to settling down in your next place, it’s important to see it for yourself.

Touring the home

There’s no amount of Craigslist descriptions or written advertisements, that can put you in the place of seeing your actual home. It’s nice to see the way the light streams in at a certain time of day, or to know the dimensions of your kitchen compared with your bedroom.

It’s why we tour our members before they sign leases, either over FaceTime, through our 3D tours, or in-person with a Leasing Specialist. It gives our members the chance to see their homes, the luxe furnishings, and get a sense for how inviting the spaces are. It’s also an opportunity for those members to see the variety of spaces we offer – from private rooms and shared suites, to community spaces like lounges, furnished backyards, rooftops and more. While you can surely find all of that information on our site, it’s another thing to see the spaces virtually and in person, and to have the opportunity to ask your Leasing Specialist any questions you may have about coliving, the neighborhood, and more.

Touring the neighborhood

Speaking of the neighborhood, an in-person tour is the best way to get a sense of your new community. What better way to start feeling at home than to find your local grocery store, coffee shop, and more? Before your tour, we send along a neighborhood guide to help get you situated and to find your next favorite local spots. Part of the upside of having a friendly home is also fostering a friendly neighborhood, and exploring your local haunts is the best way to get there.
